    Round 13 CRC-P recipients announced and Round 14 applications open

    Round 13 – South Australian recipients

    Cooperative Research Centres Projects (CRC-P) Grants support short-term collaborative business-research projects, and round 13 will see $44 million being invested into 19 projects to support a range of innovative technologies and commercialisation of cutting-edge ideas.

    South Australian research projects which have been successful recipients as part of this funding include:

    Ferronova, working alongside Australian Bragg Centre for Proton Therapy and Research Limited, Siemens Healthcare Pty Ltd, South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute Limited, The University of Sydney and University of South Australia to progress image guided cancer surgery and therapy, and work to develop commercial scale manufacturing of Ferronova’s FerroTrace SPION platform.

    Sementis Limited will work in collaboration with Global life Sciences Solutions Australia Pty Ltd, University of South Australia and DMTC Limited to continue progressing with the recently developed viral vector vaccine platform – the most advanced in the country – and harness the global potential of this platform through the ability to manufacture Sementis vaccines in Australia.

    Round 14 – applications now open

    Applications for Round 14 are now open.

    The Round is open to all industry sectors however will have a focus on supporting projects in line with Government priorities, including the National Reconstruction Fund (NRF) priority areas and the Science and Research priorities.

    Applications that have a focus on the circular economy are also encouraged.

    Applications for Round 14 will close at 5pm AEDT on 2 March 2023.
